Van Tassell Center
Wenatchee Valley College's old student union building didn't have much to offer;
in fact, students had a hard time even finding the entrance.
Van Tassell Center changed all that. Now students have access to a multitude of
resources all under one roof. The bookstore, formerly in a different building, is
more convenient; the expanded lounge allows for better separation between activity
areas; and there's room for staff offices. Plus, the whole structure is ADA accessible.
The Center's entry, which is easy to find, has an elevated plaza perfect for outdoor
ceremonies and events. The college is so pleased with the building that Van Tassell
Center is the first thing visitors to their Web site see. |
