This project expanded and modernized WSD’s existing athletic infrastructure through the addition of a new softball field facility and upgrades to the fields serving the football and soccer programs. The Landscape Architecture team at Bernardo Wills led the design process, developing high-quality, cost-effective, and functional solutions that met the District’s goals for performance, accessibility, and equity and conformed to conformed to WIAA regulations, and Title IX requirements.
The synthetic turf field offers consistent play and extended use throughout the year. Amenities include modern dugouts, bullpens, batting cages, elevated bleachers, and high-quality field lighting. A new press box and locker rooms further enhance the experience for players, coaches, and spectators.
The completed facilities uphold WSD’s commitment to quality, safety, and inclusivity, providing regulation-compliant athletic spaces that reflect the District’s investment in student athletics and community pride.
