Bernardo Wills provided landscape architecture services as part of the design team for West Valley High School’s updated track and field facilities. Following a site analysis and planning study in 2020, our team helped the District evaluate conditions and outline a phased approach to improve safety, Title IX compliance, and year-round usability. The upgrades include a new 8-lane running track, relocated field event areas, and conversion of the grass field to synthetic turf—designed for football and soccer play. Bernardo Wills is leading the design of the track, event areas, and adjacent site elements, including fencing, walkways, and irrigation. Our work supports a more durable, accessible, and performance-focused facility for West Valley student-athletes and the broader community.
