Cathy was drawn to the architecture field by a desire to be part of a dynamic, collaborative environment where learning and contribution go hand in hand. What she enjoys most about working in an architectural firm is witnessing the full journey of a project.
In her role as Executive Assistant, Cathy values the variety of each day. She works closely with firm principals and team members, supporting a wide range of projects and responsibilities that keep the studio running smoothly. Her position allows her to connect across teams, keep communication flowing, and contribute to the structure that supports creative work.
She brings a unique perspective to Bernardo Wills through her background across multiple industries, including IT, oil, and healthcare. This diverse professional experience has shaped her adaptability, problem-solving skills, and ability to support complex teams.
Cathy enjoys walking through buildings with architects and listening as they describe design intent, materials, and detailing. Experiencing architecture through the eyes of designers gives her a deeper appreciation for the thought and care that goes into every decision.
